Our new location is located at Garrett Mountain Reservation along side Elite Equine Group at Garrett Mountain Equestrian Center in Woodland Park, NJ.
I have been a boarder at this stable since the Summer of 2019. I have been with horses for over 66 years!! I am a certified equine massage therapist and very connected to a horse’s emotions . Every horse here is happy and healthy!! This is absolutely the most incredible facility I have boarded my horses in. The care is superior to all in that each and every horse has individual attention for the highest quality nutrition and overall guidance!! Stalls are maintained immaculate with fresh clean water and bedding . Free range hay is provided in each paddock. There is an indoor arena and outdoor arena ! Plenty of beautiful scenic trails to ride. There is no other place as accommodating in New Jersey!!
Misty Mountain is the most incredibly welcoming place for both horse and rider. I started taking lessons with Becca two years ago, and she helped me gain back my confidence and enjoy riding again. This summer I got a horse of my own who I now board at Misty Mountain. He came underweight and scrawny, and thanks to his amazing diet, he is now a healthy weight. One of my favorite things about Misty mountain is being able to go riding with my friends, and enjoy my horse in a judgement free zone!
Misty Mountain Acres is a beautiful farm from the scenery to the animals to the people! They are knowledgeable, welcoming and encouraging to anyone who is seeking to get back in the saddle or get in the saddle for the first time, no matter the age or experience. Truly a wonderful place!
